Fabrication for artists, galleries and exhibitions.
Platforms, walls, built environments, furniture and millwork for gallery shows and artists' projects, taken from the artist's drawings to installation.
How we approach it
Exhibition work has to look finished on opening day, and it often calls for things nobody has built before: rooms that read as real but aren't, objects at the scale of architecture. We take the artist's or curator's design set, work out how each piece gets built, and resolve it in shop drawings for approval.
We build what we can in the shop, then frame, platform, drywall and install in the gallery. Because we hold a B General Building license as well as a C-6, we can take on the whole build-out, not only the millwork.
Priced from drawings
Send the design set for a budgetary number. We schedule the shop build around the install window so the room is finished before the show opens.

All projectsQuestions we get about exhibition and art fabrication
Do you work from an artist's drawings?
Yes. We turn the design set into shop drawings, send them back for approval, and build to them.
Can you build inside the gallery?
Yes. Framing, raised platforms, drywall, finish work and millwork installation are all within our B General Building and C-6 licenses.
More for the trade: Custom cabinetry and built-ins · Architectural millwork · Restaurant and bar millwork
Have something in mind?
A sketch, a sentence or a full design set is enough to start. Tell us about it and we'll take it from there.
